The CGI animation brings Gestamp’s new G-Lab Next Gen R&D project to life through a high-fidelity presentation of its prototype vehicle, using cinematic visuals to showcase new safety technologies and chassis innovations. Developed entirely in 3D, the film combines detailed environments, materials, lighting, and automotive motion to create a realistic and technically grounded representation of the vehicle and its capabilities.

The project was developed by a fully remote team of four, with weekly reviews and continuous live collaboration throughout the production. As part of the 3D art team, I contributed across multiple stages of the process, producing enviroment blockout, high-fidelity rendered shots, animation and lighting tests that were used as visual keys presented to the executive team weekly. I focused on the vehicle’s motion and dynamics used in the final animation, while also applying automotive knowledge to refine materials, proportions, and physics, helping achieve a convincing and realistic looking and motion for the prorotype automotive.
